Prior Coaching: Coached SAS Kickers where his GU17 team won 2nd place in league and his GU13 team won 1st place in the Santa Maria Tournament and 2nd place in the Eclipse Tournament. Coached Chivas Simi Valley, his GU13 team won 1st place in the Victorville Coyotes Tournament.
Background: Efrain Gomez was born in Yahualica, Mexico where he played High School and Semi Pro soccer. He has had experience in all field positions, but his main position has always been Goalie Keeper.
Efrain played in several Mexican Soccer Leagues and was voted MVP in the Guatemala Soccer League, ORBE Soccer League, and Centinella Soccer League. He played Semi-Pro Soccer for the Lincoln Soccer League and Simon Bolivar Soccer League. He also played in Simi Valley Adult Soccer League.
Over the years, Efrain has trained several players from Moorpark College, Simi Valley High, Royal High School and Thousand Oaks High School.
Efrain’s thirty-five years of experience have brought him discipline, self respect, respect of others, passion for the sport and a desire to share and teach the benefits that soccer can bring to ones’ life.
